Research overview：
生体膜には物質輸送を担う膜タンパク質が存在し、恒常的な細胞内外の環境を維持しています。近年、様々な疾患がこれら輸送に関わる膜タンパク質の異常に起因することが同定され、各々の作動原理を理解することが急務とされていました。本研究では、ナノ反応容器を利用して、膜タンパク質の物質輸送と構造変化を1分子単位で同時に計測できる技術を新規開発し、構造機能相関の直接的な解明から、それらの作動原理の理解を試みます。
