【課題】毛髪を用いた個人識別/認証の方法に於いて、過去まで遡って、履歴を含めて個人識別/認証する技術を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】予め複数のヒトの損傷の種類及び/又は損傷度合の異なる2種以上の毛髪と、未知毛髪の試験試料の近赤外吸収スペクトルを測定し、それらのスペクトルデータを統計的処理した指標と、試験試料からの指標とを比較することにより、個人識別/認証する方法、及び過去まで遡って履歴を含む個人識別/認証方法を非侵襲的に鑑別する。前記統計処理のアルゴリズムとしては、主成分分析(PCA)、SIMCA、又はKNN法であることが好ましい。【選択図】図1【図1】
