【要約】【構成】板ガラスの表面にTiO2 光触媒を担持させ、前記板ガラスと前記光触媒との界面がTi-O-Si結合で接合された板ガラス。【効果】板ガラスの表面に光触媒が担持されているので、特別な脱臭装置を設けることなく室内のタバコ臭等の悪臭を容易に分解できる。また、TiO2光触媒は、通常の室内で得られる蛍光灯や白熱電灯などの4eV以下の低エネルギ光や板ガラスを透過してくる太陽光により光触媒反応を起こすので、ニコチン、タール、ヤニ等のタバコ臭やペット臭やトイレ臭等の種々の臭いを分解除去することができる。
