基体に、バインダー成分としてのシリカゾルと光触媒成分としての二酸化チタンとを含有する塗膜を形成した光触媒体であって、前記シリカゾルが0.1〜10nmの粒径を有し、かつ前記光触媒用二酸化チタンの一次粒径(A)と前記シリカゾルの粒径(B)との比(A/B)が200〜2の範囲であることを特徴とする光触媒体。
