目標操舵力特性になるように、電動モータを制御してステアリング機構を駆動する電動パワーステアリング装置であって、 目標アシスト特性を制御マップにより規定した制御マップ手段と、 この制御マップに基づき目標操舵力特性となるように操舵力を制御する制御手段と、 視覚情報が少ない走行状態を判定する判定手段と、 視覚情報が少ない走行状態では、操舵力に対する車両応答の位相遅れが小さくなるように、操舵力特性を補正する補正手段と、 を有することを特徴とする電動パワーステアリング装置。
