【課題】簡単な開閉又は折り畳み操作で立体形状の中空多面体を形成できる造形性の高い折り畳み式中空多面体を提供する。【解決手段】奇数面を有する中空多面体(四角錐状中空多面体)1は、1つの正四角形状の第1の面を構成する第1の基本要素部材2(2a,2b)と、この第1の面に一辺を共有して隣接し、かつ前記第1の面に対して傾斜面を形成する4つの正三角形状の第2の面を構成する第2の基本要素部材3(3a,3b,3c,3d)とを備えている。前記第1の基本要素部材2(2a,2b)は、対角線に沿って折り曲げ可能な一対の直角二等辺三角形状の折曲要素部材2a,2bを含み、互いに隣接する前記基本要素部材は、互いに対向し、かつ開閉可能な開口部5を形成する二対の開閉要素部材として形成されている。第1の基本要素部材2(2a,2b)と第2の基本要素部材3(3a〜3d)との隣接部は、開閉要素部材の開口縁を除き、ヒンジ式連結部位(薄肉部)を介して折り曲げ可能に形成されている。【選択図】図1

立体形状において、四角形状の第1の面と、この第1の面に一辺を共有して隣接する複数の三角形状の第2の面とを備え、奇数面を有する中空多面体であって、中空多面体の各面を構成する基本要素部材と、前記中空多面体の頂部交点を経て直線状に延びる稜線に沿って開口可能な形態で、前記複数の基本要素部材を互いにヒンジ式に連結する連結部とを備えており、開口部の開閉操作により立体形状の中空多面体を形成できる折り畳み式中空多面体。
