【請求項1】ガスハイドレートを含む測定対象物を波長が2.5μm〜4.0μmの範囲において赤外分光測定し、測定対象物中の水分子のOH伸縮振動吸収バンドの変化を測定し、水のOH伸縮振動吸収バンド測定結果から式(1)により一次モーメントを算出し、 (式中、νは波長、I0は参照試料(空のセル)の吸光度、Iは試料の吸光度である。) 初期の値の一次モーメントと比較することによってガスハイドレート生成・分解状況を検知することを特徴とするガスハイドレートの生成・分解状況の検知方法。
