【請求項1】移動手段によって移動可能に設けられた多関節のマニピュレータによってワークを把持する位置を、コンピュータのオフライン処理で特定する把持位置計算装置であって、与えられた把持条件に対して、許容される外力の大きさを示す指標である許容外力を算出する許容外力算出部と、複数の前記把持条件に対して前記許容外力算出部によって許容外力を求め、算出された許容外力が最も大きい把持条件を選択する選択部と、を有することを特徴とする把持位置計算装置。
