【請求項1】 立体画像の視差分布を変換する立体画像処理装置であって、
前記立体画像について、視差の隣接画素間差分が大きい領域において、前記隣接画素間差分を縮小する縮小処理を行う変換処理部を備え、
該変換処理部は、視差の隣接画素間差分が大きい画素の近傍において、近傍画素よりも視差値が小さい画素の視差値をそのままに、近傍画素よりも視差値が大きい画素の視差値を小さくすることによって、前記縮小処理を行うことを特徴とする立体画像処理装置。
