【請求項1】合成石英、ガラス、サファイアのうちいずれか1つのみで構成された加工部材と被加工物を接触させた状態で、同加工部材を透過させていない紫外光若しくはプラズマを、回転することで被加工物と接触する領域の表面に直接照射して、同加工部材のみに清浄化かつ親水化処理を行い、その後、前記加工部材の清浄化かつ親水化された表面と被加工物を接触させた状態で、前記加工部材と前記被加工物を相対的に変位させる工程を備える 加工方法。
