Claim (excerpt)：

自車両の車線からの逸脱を防止するよう操舵機構に操舵力を付与する車線逸脱防止制御装置において、 自車両の走行状況を検出する走行状況検出手段と、 自車両が走行する前記車線を検出する車線認識手段と、 前記車線の所定位置に目標横位置を設定する目標横位置設定手段と、 前記車線に対する自車両の横位置を認識する自車横位置認識手段と、 前記自車両の横位置と前記目標横位置との偏差の増加に応じて増加する第1の操舵力を演算する第1の操舵力演算手段と、 前記偏差の増加に応じて操舵力が増加し、前記偏差が小さい領域では前記第1の操舵力よりも小さい操舵力に設定され、かつ、前記偏差の増大に応じて操舵力の増加率が増大する第2の操舵力を演算する第2の操舵力演算手段と、 前記走行状況に応じて前記第1の操舵力と前記第2の操舵力との比率を変化させて目標操舵力を設定する目標操舵力設定手段と、 前記目標操舵力に基づいて前記操舵機構に操舵力を付与する操舵力制御手段と を備えることを特徴とする車線逸脱防止制御装置。
