【課題】電子顕微鏡や加速器に用いることができる、磁気特性の耐久性に優れて、且つ、室温動作可能なスピン偏極電子源を提供する。【解決手段】スピン偏極電子源として、フェリ磁性体の酸化鉄ウィスカーを用いる。特には、当該フェリ磁性体の酸化鉄の種類が、マグネタイト又はマグヘマイトであり、ウィスカーの直径が、10nm〜2μmであることを特徴とする。【選択図】図4
